Role: Estimator – Flat Roofing
Salary: £40,000 – £60,000 + Car Allowance (DOE)
Location: Glasgow

McCormack Partners is working with a distinguished principal contractor, known for its expertise in flat roofing and cladding refurbishment. The company is looking to expand the department with an experienced flat roofing estimator.

Our client has been delivering high-quality modernisation and maintenance across the UK for almost 100 years! The company’s successful combination of directly employed skilled tradespeople and approved specialist subcontractors, led by an experienced management team, has delivered over £2bn worth of projects. Over the past five years, it has experienced exponential growth, increasing its turnover by £10m to an outstanding £35m.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare and submit accurate and competitive cost estimates for flat roofing projects.
Analyse drawings, specifications, and other documents to prepare accurate take-offs.
Maintain strong relationships with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors.
Work collaboratively with the project management team to ensure accurate project pricing and resource allocation.
Stay updated with industry trends, materials, and pricing to maintain competitiveness.

Key Requirements

Minimum 3 years of experience in flat roofing.
Minimum 3 years of experience as an Estimator.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and organisational abilities.
