Role: Roofing Site Supervisor
Salary: Negotiable DOE + van
Location: Somerset, United Kingdom

McCormack Partners is working with a long-standing, well-established roofing contractor to recruit an experienced Roofing Supervisor. With a 30-year track record in the industry, our client specialises in slating, tiling, leadwork, green roofs, metal sheeting & cladding, standing seam, single-ply systems & aluminium flashings. They have built a strong reputation carrying out roofing contracts for major developers throughout the South West.

This role requires a competent individual to support the contracts manager in managing all aspects of site work across approximately 15 sites in the Somerset area. The successful candidate will ensure the smooth running of daily operations.

Key Responsibilities

Conducting pre-roof, mid-roof and completion inspections
Delivering toolbox talks to the tradesmen
Monitoring and managing material requirements
Scheduling plot activities in coordination with site teams and the contracts manager
Coordinating with the roofing tradesmen and labourers
Maintaining regular communication with the in-house buying department and contracts manager to ensure continuity and correct scheduling of works
Participating in weekly sub-contractor meetings on site and weekly meetings with your contracts manager at the regional office

Key Requirements

Minimum of 3 years of pitched roofing
Minimum of 3 years in a supervisor role
A sound understanding of health & safety
Excellent IT, communication, organisation, and people skills
Ability to work effectively under pressure
Valid driving licence
