Role: Flat Roofing Contracts Manager
Salary: £60k + van + bonus
Location: East London

There is a clear ladder of progression towards senior level to manage the team of Contracts Managers, allowing you to progress your career and make an impact by being a key player in the company’s continuous growth and success!

The company is a long-established, family-run contractor with over 40 years experience in the roofing industry.

It has won multiple awards for its work throughout London and Essex, and has ambitions to continue its expansion with no sign of slowing down.

The company operates in both new build and refurb sectors, on flat roofing projects valued from £50k – £2m.

Key Candidate Requirements

Proven Contract Management experience within the flat roofing industry
A strong understanding of the mechanics of managing a complex construction project
Excellent knowledge and understanding of flat roofing systems
Knowledge and experience of pitched roofing and lead work would be beneficial
Excellent planning and organisational skills
Knowledge of roofing products and material selection
Self-disciplined to work on your own initiative with minimal supervision, the ability to forward plan and manage your own schedule efficiently
Excellent communication skills for liaising with a wide range of clients, professionals, and workers on site
Strong attention to detail for conducting site inspections and managing complex contracts
Excellent numerical and IT skills
Strong leadership attributes to lead by example and motivate your team to ensure a high standard of work in line with the company values
Strong work ethic and entrepreneurial spirit, always looking to improve ways of working and keen to contribute new ideas
Aptitude in decision-making with the ability to work well under pressure within a strict deadline environment
CSCS Card and SMSTS
Full UK Driving License
