Winners for £500m southern highways and civils framework

Hampshire County Council has appointed a fresh line-up of contractors for its fifth-generation civils and highways framework covering the south of England.

VolkerFitzpatrick, BAM Nuttall and Galliford Try are among the big-name contractors gaining a place for the first time this year on the major project lot.

The four-year framework could see a spend of up to £500m  split into two distinct southern territories: East and West.

£20m-£175m projects (Total spend £50-£150m)

East and West £4m-£25m ( Total spend £40m-£70m)

Just Hampshire including Portsmouth and Southampton

East: Berkshire, Buckinghamshire, East Sussex, Hampshire, Isle of Wight, Kent, Oxfordshire, Surrey and West Sussex.
West: Cornwall, Devon, Dorset, Gloucestershire, Somerset, Wiltshire.
