£50,000 – £60,000 DOE + Car Allowance + Bonus

Firmly established as one of the North West’s leading Building Envelope Main Contractors, our client has enjoyed unprecedented growth over the last few years. As a Senior Designer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and managing projects for the company’s clients. You will need to have a strong understanding of Rainscreen, Flat Roofing, and AutoCAD, as well as other design software and techniques.

Roles and Responsibilities

Produce accurate drawings/registers to assist in the delivery/installation of projects
Produce accurate schedules to assist procurement requirements of the projects
Engage with Estimators and Commercial Team to ensure that project design is compliant with the specification and project budgets
Ensure that all designs are issued to clients’ relevant document control portal and all drawings are kept up to date with newly issued architects, engineers and sub-contract drawing releases.
Ensuring that the companies design output meets the industry design standards
Engage with manufacturers to ensure design output is compliant with the product standards
Engage with architects, design managers, engineers and other interfacing sub-contractors to ensure of a compliant design
Attend internal and external design meetings where required

Key Requirements

Experience with Rainscreen Cladding and Roofing
Strong understanding of design principles and techniques
Experience with AutoCAD
Experience with Revit preferred but not essential
