New Build Care Home Roofed by Russell Roof Tiles

RUSSELL ROOF TILES was specified by Seagrave Developments, on a new care home project in Northampton.

The design of the 59-room care home, Squires Mews, featured Russell Roof Tiles’ Lothian concrete roof tile.

The Lothian is a thinner leading-edge tile that has a mock joint and hidden interlock. The tile is laid broken bonded, creating a small format tile appearance whilst offering the commercial benefits of a concrete tile.

The Russell Roof Tiles team worked collaboratively with Seagrave Developments, and roofing contractors, Pebbleford Roofing to select a tile that fitted in with the local architectural style.

Pebbleford Roofing’s owner, Michael Watters, said: “Our first job with Russell Roof Tiles was a success. We are really pleased with the quality of their product, and working in line with their specification to ensure this care home receives a product that not only comes with a great 15-year guarantee, but that is fitted in accordance with guidelines, by our team at Pebbleford, who achieve great results for clients.”

The team collaborated with Seagrave Developments to understand their specifications, and carefully assess and suggest the best package for the site.

“Less than two years on, we’re pleased to see that our roof tiles suit the care home perfectly and are proud to have collaborated in creating a safe, secure, and aesthetically pleasing location.”

A full RussSpec Guarantee was provided. It is aimed at architects and specifiers who require detailed roofing specification clauses. Each RussSpec complies with British Standards, Codes of Practice, building regulations and covers the Russell range of tiles and accessories.
