NBP Reassures Customers of Capacity Despite Market Slowdown
NORTHERN BUILDING PLASTICS (NBP) is reassuring customers of the capacity within its nationwide Super Depots, located in Birtley, Bolton, Hinckley and Leeds, following the latest report from the Construction Leadership Council’s Material Supply Chain Group.
In its July report, the group predicts that the current market downturn is unlikely to improve this year, and that suppliers have adjusted capacity in line with the subdued demand.
As the building trade expresses concern over suppliers’ ability to quickly increase output to meet any potential spikes, Northern Building Plastics is reassuring customers that it remains fully committed to maintaining its high stock levels.
High Capacity
“We have seen other suppliers scaling back operations and extending lead times in response to the slowdown, which is only adding to the problem,” explains NBP’s Sales Director, Steve Jones.
“By contrast, a tougher market just makes us more determined to get things back on track for our customers, and the best way we can do that is by ensuring product availability across the thousands of building products we keep in stock, and nationwide next day – sometimes even same-day – delivery direct-to-site.”
Head of Marketing Gareth Drew adds: “We are proactive, not reactive at NBP, and the current market has led us to strengthen our connection and communication with customers to find out exactly what they need from us. We want to make planning and profitability really, really, easy for them – and we know that matters even more when times are hard.”
