Manchester Airport Group seeks firms for £550m works deal

Manchester Airports Group has started the hunt for partners to deliver a £550m capital programme of airfield works at its airports.

The work covering construction and rehabilitation of concrete and asphalt airside infrastructure covers Manchester, East Midlands and Stansted airports and will be delivered in a 5-8 year programme.

The airport group is looking for a single firm to fill each of the five lots up for grabs, with each lot covering a spend of £44m and £185m. Reserves will also be appointed.
