KNAUF has announced it will sponsor of the Construction Excellence SECBE Awards 2024.

The regional awards, set to take place on 27 June 2024, recognises excellence and innovation in the construction industry across London and the South East.

As a returning sponsor, Knauf says it is honoured to support the Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) category. The category seeks to celebrate organisations and projects that demonstrate outstanding commitment to social, economic, and environmental sustainability.

Knauf’s own commitment to sustainability extends beyond sponsorship of the SECBE Awards. The company engages in initiatives designed to minimise environmental impact and support social causes by delivering to its customers an accredited waste management service called ‘Knauf – Plasterboard Take Back Scheme’ through its partner Encore.

The scheme gives customers access to initiatives such as ProjectDIVERT and Waste Wise Kids to divert waste from landfills and educate children on environmental conservation in local communities.
