ISG secures £27m brace of leisure centre jobs
ISG has strengthens its partnership with Alliance Leisure after two projects worth over £27m in North East Derbyshire and Durham.
A new £24m leisure facility to the south of Chesterfield will replace the original Sharley Park Leisure Centre in Clay Cross.
ISG will build a new centre include a 100-station gym, four court sports hall, and 25m swimming pool with six lanes. The facility will also feature a Citizens Advice centre, an NHS suite of services including maternity and children’s services.
In Durham, the Louisa Centre is set for a £3m extensive overhaul and upgrade.
This project will transform the sports hall to create space for TAGactive, climbing walls, cyber towers.
Additionally, a new café and food and beverage outlets will be integrated into the double-height practice hall, featuring two party rooms and a new soft play structure.
This project marks ISG’s fourth refurbishment collaboration with Alliance Leisure in Durham, following successful projects at Consett Leisure Centre, Abbey Leisure Centre, and Peterlee Leisure Centre.
