ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE (AI) is said to hold enormous possibilities for the construction industry, including enhancing productivity and competitiveness.

However, adopting AI technology can be challenging. Bridge AI is a new government-backed programme that aims to help businesses in high potential growth sectors, such as construction, to harness the power of AI.

£32m Artificial Intelligence Fund

The programme offers funding and support to help innovators assess and implement trusted AI solutions, connect with AI experts and elevate their AI leadership skills.

Innovate UK is launching a £32 million fund for innovation projects that improve productivity through the use of AI and Machine Learning.

Applications are open to businesses of any size, academic institutions, charity and public sectors and can be submitted as a single entity, or as an R&D collaboration. The closing date is 8 November and an online briefing session for those interested in applying will be held on 29th September.
