Floorplan celebrates 25 years of success

Raised access flooring specialist Floorplan Systems Limited has celebrated 25 years in business.

Established in 1998 by founders Gordon Scott, Gordon Taylor, Brian McEvoy, and more recently headed up by Patrick Swift, the Lancashire based company has evolved from a modest startup into a key player in the industry helped by its exclusive partnership with JVP, an Italian family run business which designs and manufactures a wide range of access floor panels.

Floorplan enjoys single source rights to import, supply and install these products in the UK with notable installations including The Shard, The Gherkin, Nova Victoria and the new London HQ of The Financial Times.

Carlo Valerio of JVP said: “Floorplan and JVP are more or less, twins – our companies were established in the same year, with a unique focus; to provide the best possible service to the Raised Access Floor market and we have been inseparable ever since.

“Together we have installed more than 12 million floor panels equating to 4.3 million sqm – three times the area of London’s Hyde Park – all done without even a single quality claim.”

Patrick Swift, Managing Director of Floorplan said: “Throughout our journey, Floorplan Systems has worked hard to cultivate a reputation for reliability and a first-class approach to the delivery of quality products.

“We are lucky to have such a long-standing, dedicated team who have helped us reach this milestone. Our focus now is to plan for the next generation to continue the legacy of our founders. This anniversary celebrates not only the years of contribution of all past and present, but also signifies the start of the next chapter.”
