Failed strip out specialist owes £1.5m to supply chain
Strip-out and demolition specialist Type Ten Limited has gone into liquidation owing its supply chain more than £1.5m.
The scale of the Essex-based contractor’s debts has been revealed in a Companies House update from the liquidator who took charge of the company earlier this month.
Type Ten has been in business since 2011 working on projects across London and the South East – the company changed its name from Pristine London in 2022.
The liquidator’s statement of affairs, which were signed off by Type Ten director Lee Cummins, highlights more than 100 subcontractors and suppliers owed cash following the firm’s collapse.
One industry source said: “A lot of people have been knocked by Type Ten going down.
“The management team there had a lot of big plans but now it has all crumbled.”
Latest abridged accounts for the company for the year to December 31 2022 showed shareholders’ funds of more than £2m with the company employing 21 staff.
