DUSTCONTROL UK, a specialist in providing dust extraction solutions to the construction industry, has become an official supporter of the Lighthouse Construction Industry Charity.

The charity provides emotional, physical and financial wellbeing support to those working in the construction industry. As part of the new partnership, the company will be fundraising for the charity throughout the year. The money raised will go towards supporting those in the industry who are struggling and in need of somewhere to turn for support.

Charity Support

The Lighthouse Construction Charity reports that two construction workers in the UK and Ireland take their own lives every day. The charity aims to reduce this shocking figure by offering free and confidential support and advice on a wide variety of wellbeing issues via its free 24/7 helpline.

In addition to the helpline, the charity’s services also include:

A texting and live online chat service for those who feel uncomfortable talking on the phone
Education and training through its own ‘Wellbeing Academy’
A self-support app
Critical incident support
Site visits
Safe spaces for people to come together and talk in a confidential and supportive environment
