Bouyges to build Chichester student scheme

Bouyges has been confirmed as main contractor on major student accommodation plans for the University of Chichester.

The University is working with Uliving in consortium with Equitix as preferred bidder on a student accommodation new build and refurbishment programme across its two campuses.

Work will deliver a total of 1,032 units across the two sites in Bognor Regis and Chichester. This will include extensive refurbishment to the existing 507 beds across the two campuses, a 176-bed new build scheme at Bognor Regis and 349 new beds at the Bishop Otter campus in Chichester.

The consortium propose to refurbish, develop and enhance the twin sites to be delivered in stages with practical completion by September 2027.
