Blenheim House Construction enters administration

Surrey-based contractor Blenheim House Construction has confirmed it has entered administration just six months after it reported its first loss in 26 years of trading.

Insolvency specialist Evelyn Partners has taken control of the business, which was founded in 1996 and earned revenue of £87m in 2023, employing over 80 staff.

These accounts reveal over £13m was owed to trade creditors.

Adam Stephens, partner at Evelyn Partners and lead joint administrator of Blenheim House Construction, said: “We are working with Blenheim House Construction’s management team and other key stakeholders to achieve the best possible outcome for creditors.

“This includes reviewing Blenheim House Construction’s financial position in relation to existing projects and what the options are.”

Blenheim House was working on several projects, including the upgrade and expansion of workspaces at the former Barratts Chocolate factory in Wood Green, North London for Workspace Group.
