The phase two award, which is estimated to be worth around £240m, involves three new buildings totalling 540,000 sq ft and featuring laboratories, homes, shops and restaurants.

The buildings will be delivered to the highest sustainability standards achieving a BREEAM Excellent and a Wired Score Platinum Rating.

Phase 2 follows the delivery of The Apex, the first laboratory building on the Tribeca campus which has secured The London BioScience Innovation Centre as its first tenant.

James Byrne, Ardmore director said: “We are thrilled to have been appointed to deliver the final phase of the Tribeca life sciences campus in King’s Cross.

“We’ve put together a highly skilled team for this project, who have worked under a PCSA for the last 12-months to ensure the scheme remained deliverable and viable.

“This award underlines our ability to de-risk complex projects, combining our extensive experience of large-scale commercial and residential construction and our ability to unlock logistically challenging schemes.”
