Role: Draughtsman / Draughtsperson – Cladding
Contract: Full time
Location: East Midlands

McCormack Partners are working with a leading industrial roofing and cladding firm based in Derbyshire and we’re looking to recruit an experienced cladding draughtsman to join the team on a full-time basis. Founded in 1986, this industrial roofing and cladding firm are the leading East Midlands based roofing and building envelope contractor with extensive experience and knowledge in its field. The company generally operates in the Midlands and South Yorkshire area including Nottingham, Derby, Leicester, Lincoln, Sheffield, Rotherham, Birmingham, Coventry, Northampton, however also carry out works UK wide.

Twin-skin / Built up systems
Composite Panel Systems
Standing Seam
GRP
Fibre Cement System
Laminated Boards
Aluminium Rainscreen Systems

Ideal Candidate

This is an excellent opportunity for a draughtsman/draughtsperson with 3 years cladding experience looking to take the next step in their career where the chance to grow and progress is unrestricted.

Successful candidate must meet below requirements/experience/qualifications:

Minimum 3 year’s industrial/commercial cladding design experience.
Educated to minimum HNC/HND or similar level in a construction related subject with demonstrable experience in a similar role.
Computer literate and proficient in AutoCAD. Experience with Revit would be advantageous but is not essential.
Experience with Microsoft Office Suite is essential.
Experience with a range of rainscreen cladding systems including fibre cement and aluminium cladding systems. Additional experience with composite panel systems and/or standing seam would be advantageous.
Minimum 3 years’ experience within cladding sector.
Full Clean driving licence.
Understand U-Value calculations.
Some form of rainscreen cladding design experience is preferred.
2 years minimum experience using CAD/AutoCAD.
