LHC Reveals Next Tender Frameworks Including Roofing

LHC PROCUREMENT GROUP has revealed its next six consultancy frameworks for 2024.

The six frameworks, including a specialist roofing framework, will provide local authorities with a platform to procure public buildings and projects throughout the UK.

LHC is encouraging industry specialists to register their interest and help shape the frameworks as they are developed.

Roofing Frameworks

The roofing systems and associated works (RS5) covers the design, supply and installation of roofing systems and associated works in all types of public sector refurbishment and new build projects. The framework will be split into two parts: RS5 Manufacturers and RS5 Contractors, covering products and installations and maintenance respectively. Invitation to tender (ITT) will be in October.

Other frameworks cover modular buildings (MB3), public buildings construction and infrastructure (PB4), supply and installation of windows and doors (WD3), and architecture design services (ADS2).

One framework is aimed solely at Welsh residential construction (H2W), and will be delivered by LHC’s Welsh Procurement Alliance (WPA).

Jennifer Castle, Chief Operating Officer at LHC, said: “Our upcoming pipeline will provide the market with a range of services that will help to deliver new projects, maintain and enhance existing buildings and drive improved social value in communities throughout the UK.

“The creation of each of these frameworks includes extensive market engagement before the frameworks are developed, so that we can create something attuned to local supply chains and reflective of the specific needs of clients in those areas.

“This process also helps us to identify how and where we can deliver tangible community benefits beyond the services provided via the framework.”

The six frameworks join others that LHC has launched in 2024, including FS2 (fire-safety related services), asset safety and compliance framework (ASC1) and its upcoming retrofit and decarbonation framework (N9). This last is currently at ITT stage and for delivery in two strands, with one focused specifically on renewables.

How to Register

LHC develops and operates frameworks across England, Scotland and Wales through five business units: Scottish Procurement Alliance (SPA), Consortium Procurement Construction (CPC), Welsh Procurement Alliance (WPA), South-West Procurement Alliance (SWPA) and LHC London and South East England (LSE).

Each of the new frameworks is open for clients and suppliers to register early interest to receive updates and engagement opportunities via the LHC’s eTendering portal.
