Colony Roofers, an Atlanta-based roofing firm, has appointed Brad Banacka, an industry veteran with over four decades of experience, as its new director of Commercial Operations.  

The City of Austin, Texas, said it will share data with Google on the solar reflectivity of roofs to identify which neighborhoods would benefit most from ‘cool roofs,’ aiming to reduce heat in homes and inform future climate policies.

Omnia Exterior Solutions, a residential roofing contractor portfolio company launched in January 2023, appointed Dan Shear as its new Chief Financial Officer; Shear previously worked for an Omnia co-founder’s first portfolio concern within the finished flooring space.
