Role: Contracts Manager
Salary: £50,000 – £60,000 DOE + car allowance
Location: Derbyshire

McCormack Partners are working with a well-established building envelope contractor in their search for a skilled contracts manager which has come about due to the company’s growth. If you have at least 3 years of experience as a contracts manager in the cladding industry, this role presents a fantastic opportunity to progress your career.

Our client established almost 40 years ago, specialises in providing superior cladding solutions for main contractors and developers in the new build market. The company has experienced exceptional growth and has a focus on projects valued between £500,000 and £2,000,000. Their projects are Midlands-based and involve an 80% focus on cladding and 20% on standing seam or rainscreen.

Key Responsibilities

Overseeing project execution from inception to completion, ensuring that all aspects of work are completed within schedule and budget.
Manage between one to five projects at once, depending on the size of each project.
Liaising with all project stakeholders including site teams, sub-contractors, and clients to ensure smooth project delivery.
Coordinating with design and estimating teams to facilitate efficient project processes.
Conduct regular site visits to ensure quality control and health & safety compliance.
Reporting on project progress to the senior management team.

Key Requirements

Minimum of 3 years of experience as a contracts manager in the cladding industry.
Strong leadership and organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills to manage relationships with a range of stakeholders.
Knowledge of construction regulations and standards, especially as they pertain to cladding and related areas.
