Role: Quantity Surveyor
Salary: £45k-60k (depending on experience)
Location: Barnet/Hungerford

Company

The client is a leading building contractor specializing in the housing and education sector, who has a history of delivering high-quality projects ranging from specialist refurbishment, roof replacements, traditional construction, internal & external upgrades, and new builds.

Due to new contract wins and an expanding order book, the company is now looking to employ a Quantity Surveyor.

Role

Leading the commercial management of multiple sites to maximise cashflow and margins
Pricing and management of variation accounts both upstream and downstream
Resolving commercial issues
Liaison and coordination with the site delivery team to collate information on a day-to-day basis
Change management and early warnings
Cost Valuation Reconciliations and Cashflow forecast management/preparation

Candidate

For this role you must have at least 3 years’ previous Quantity Surveyor experience
Relevant qualification in Quantity Surveying / Commercial Management
Proficient understanding of various contracts (JCT and NEC)
A knowledge of roofing (particularly flat and pitched roofing) would be useful, but not required
