The company is a leading roofing contractor based in Essex with a £15 Million turnover each year. It is a principal contractor and specializes in refurbishment work, with a focus on flat roofing (80%) and pitched roofing (20%).

The business works directly with surveyors and big manufacturers and has a national presence. The company culture is easy-going and laid-back, and has grown to where it is through natural progression.

Role

The company is currently seeking an experienced and ambitious Estimator to join the team. You will be responsible for the preparation of detailed cost estimates and tenders for projects ranging in value from £50,000 to £1,200,000.

You will be managing a portfolio of 50 projects at any one time and will have the opportunity to grow into an estimating manager as the company expands.

Candidate

Knowledge, understanding & experience of flat roofing systems (felting & liquids)
Knowledge and understanding of pitched roofing systems (DESIRABLE)
Minimum 2 years of estimating
