Role: Contracts Manager – Roofing and Cladding
Salary: Excellent salary (negotiable, depending on experience) + car + benefits

The client is a specialist roofing and cladding contractor which provides a complete roofing service for commercial, factory, warehouse and industrial properties, as well as having substantial experience in the areas of new build, refurbishment and maintenance and repairs.

Role – Contracts Manager

This role is a crucial position within the company. You will work closely with the MD and internal colleagues to spearhead the company’s growth with new and existing clients, ensuring that bids and opportunities are translated effectively into profitable projects.

You will be responsible for the day-to-day management of projects, ensuring that they are run efficiently, profitably, and that all contract conditions are complied with. You must ensure that all work is completed to a high standard and in a safe working manner.

Project details

Strip and re-clad
80% of projects will be refurbishment (overclad/ re-sheet) Metal (Tata, Kingspan, Steadmans etc) + Composite panel
20% are flat roofing- eg.Protan single ply
Asbestos removal

 Ideal Candidate

This is a very ‘hands on’ role, so you must be a good all-rounder who is able and willing to perform site surveys and measurements etc
You will be a strong manager who is experienced in recruiting, overseeing and managing subcontractors
Willing to work on contracts across the UK if required
You will have a background in metal cladding, composite, single-ply and asbestos removal
Strong awareness of Health & Safety and experienced in preparation of RAMS
CSCS and SMSTS
Excellent communicator
IT literate
