Role: Business Development Manager
Salary: £50,000 – £55,000 DOE + Bonus

McCormack Partners are working with a leading player in the roofing and cladding industry which is seeking a Business Development Manager to join their team in the South East. With branches in England and Scotland, the company has built a reputation for delivering exceptional service and innovative solutions to the construction sector.

Responsibilities

Achieving or exceeding the sales budget for roofing and cladding projects and contracts, in collaboration with the Sales Director
Monitoring the progress of roofing and cladding projects and contracts
Gaining market intelligence for potential opportunities in the roofing and cladding industry
Qualifying opportunities and representing the company professionally during bidding
Achieving personal sales targets, pipeline volumes, and conversion rates
Participating in monthly Sales Team meetings, as needed
Visiting existing and potential customers to win new business and increase company visibility
Supporting the Commercial Director in sales/marketing and business development activities

Requirements

At least 5 years of experience in the construction/roofing industry, with a focus on sales, technical sales, or business development
Strong technical knowledge of modern construction methods and products in the roofing and cladding industry
Proficiency in reading roof plans and drawings
Problem-solving skills and ability to offer innovative design solutions
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a background in the roofing industry or construction
